Just a quick update this time, nothing to big been struggling to find the root cause of the issue until now.
The issue was three fold;
- Firstly, The old switch for the blower fan was broken, and fair enough it was a 31 year old part
- Secondly, The positive power to the switch was connected to ground rather than 12v Switched
- Thirdly, The ground line to the blower fan was broken
It took me weeks of probing and trying to find where the issue was, not to mention having to take the dash completely out.
To fix these issues I did the following;
- Got a replacement 3 Point rotary switch, as I could not source an original one and wire it in to the harness
- Made a new ground for the Blower motor
- Re attach the 12V+ to the switched Fused circuit
At this point the reset of the interior is ready to come out and be resprayed and wrapped
After that is done, it will go back together and I will send it to get a RWC so it can get Club Registered
