The interior is finally stripped down to the point where I want it, it took most of the past 2 months to get to this point. Now I can finally start making parts and restoring them.
Big thanks to Zali, Brandon, Tom, and Lena, for all the help getting the car to this point, they all know that a lot of work has gone into it so far and still has a lot of work to go.
From this point, after the rest of the interior was stripped I have to remove all the old degraded insulation on the floor and clean the dust out of the old car. For this, I will use a wet vac and degreaser with a brush
I also got started on the new battery relocation box, it has the original battery, a solar charge controller and Anderson plugs to connect it all. The plan is to use the fold-out solar panel when camping to keep the battery charged. This will sit in the Tray of the car, and the reason I’m installing this now is that I will need to run power leads to the front of the car, and this is much easier to do with all the interior removed than attempting to do this after I reassemble the interior.
